Alternative Course Design and Delivery: Interdisciplinary Courses

This guide is for faculty who are designing alternative course delivery methods or who need practical ideas for teaching or assessing students in these courses.

What is an interdisciplinary course?

Interdisciplinary courses approach a subject or current topic of interest from insights of several established disciplines or traditional fields of study.  They are commonly taught by two or more faculty members from different disciplines.
