Welcome the the American Indian Culture and History Guide! Here you will find resources covering Native Americans from past to present. This guide contains links to books, films and articles from Billington Library and also links to pertinent websites.

Come see the Contemporary Native American Jewelry exhibit in the library located on the second floor of the Billington Library building. This installation highlights 31 works of contemporary Native American jewelry from the Nerman Museum collection. The artists are primarily Navajo and Pueblo and the pieces exhibit silver and lapidary artistry. (Lapidary is the practice of shaping stone, minerals, or gemstones into decorative items)
Click on Indians of North America or type in as a subject in the Summon Search box. You will see a complete list with links of related subjects on American Indians. Note the number besides the subject heading tells how many books are available.
