Once campus members follow the video tutorial or the written instructions below to create their account, they will be able to log in and freely access articles, videos, and podcasts on the New York Times websites or the NYT mobile app.

You will be prompted to create an account. Select your account type (student, staff, or faculty), enter your JCCC email address, and choose a password. Students will also need to enter their expected month and year of graduation. Student accounts will remain active until graduation, while all other account types will need to be renewed once a year.

To access these specific newspapers, you will need to register your ‘@stumail.jccc.edu’ or ‘@jccc.edu' email address through the library's link for each paper you wish to browse. Once campus members follow the steps on this guide to create their account, they will be able to log in and freely access articles and media online and in the mobile app for the paper if applicable.

In addition to the Wall Street Journal Digital Subscription, the Billington Library offers access to full text articles from WSJ from 1984 to 24 hours ago. Campus members can access the archive via the database Wall Street Journal (Eastern Edition) using their JCCC username and password.

Use very basic keyword terms
Keywords are one or two words which represent your topic
Spelling is important!
Use synonyms -- a thesaurus MIGHT help-- but think about other ways to describe your keyword.
Example Keyword: Movies
Keyword Synonyms: Film, Cinema, Box Office, Feature Film, DVD, motion picture, footage
Keyword Synonyms less likely to be used in academic writing: flicks, picture, picture show, cinematograph, talking picture, moving picture
