Johnson County Community College is home to the world-class Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art with one of the nation's “Big Ten” college collections of public art. With nearly 400 works of art on permanent display across campus, JCCC demonstrates the philosophy of 'living with art' through a series of media focus areas designed to facilitate interaction with art on a daily basis. The permanent collection of over 1000 objects includes works by regionally, nationally, and internationally known artists. Works are installed outdoors, and in the interior public spaces of the Regnier Center, the Wylie Hospitality & Culinary Academy, the Midwestern Trust Center, OCB, and the Commons Building.
The Nerman's Visitor Orientation Guide includes the floorplan for the Museum, as well as the locations of works which are installed throughout campus.
