The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art offers free guided tours for classes and campus and community groups who want to learn more about museum exhibitions or the permanent collection. Other free programs are offered throughout the year. Check the Museum's calendar for a complete list of events.
Noon at the Nerman is a weekly interdisciplinary program examining works of art on view at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art or in the permanent collection focus areas on campus. Students, staff and visitors gather at the Atrium then walk to one of the artworks on campus or in the museum to hear a JCCC faculty or staff member speak briefly on that work of art. The program is free and occurs throughout the academic year.
JCCC also offers numerous academic programs in the visual arts where individuals are able to study and/or create contemporary art. They include:
- Fine Arts (Painting, Photography, Drawing, Sculpture, Ceramics, Metals, Digital Imaging)
